At the start of the first quarter of 2018 my supervisor at Arapahoe Libraries requested that I submit my ideas for a new library layout. Our branch would soon be initiating the planning phase of installing new carpet and finishes, allowing for the possibility of an updated layout for the space. It was well known that I had voiced my thoughts about improving our space for patrons and staff and I was thankful to have the chance to formally submit my ideas to the planning committee. I used my own space planning software to design the layout and provided an explanation for each suggested change.
